Changing the way people think about international development begins by raising awareness of alternative approaches. Our faculty bring their IDN research experience into the classroom, and we also sponsor and host numerous events designed to educate and inform the Emory community and the public about work taking place around the globe through the following programs:
Making a Difference series
IDN’s Making a Difference series features Emory faculty and Carter Center staff hosting discussions on issues related to global poverty. The sessions help to identify areas where the two institutions can collaborate and learn from one another.
