Speaker Series

The Institute for Developing Nations is now in the second year of its Making a Difference speaker series. These dialogues are designed to advance discussion within the Emory community on a wide array of development issues. Exploring these questions from perspectives as diverse as anthropology, law, public health, and beyond, these dialogues provide a forum for interdisciplinary exchange and promote collaborative efforts to address the challenge of poverty and development. Last year, topics included international conflict, justice in Liberia, the African Union, and violence in South Africa. This year, IDN hopes to offer an expanded speaker series covering topics at the forefront of development research.
